Summer McCusker

A year ago, I was in Japan. My fellow performer Charity said her friend Summer was coming out for a visit and mentioned that she was petite. She was not kidding! When Summer arrive, I like many others, giggled at how preciously tiny she is!
She usually shops in the children's section, but found herself in heaven with Japan's tiny sizes! She came out again for a second time in the end of my contract, and I have come to claim her as my own friend!

A few weeks ago, fresh off completing her most recent tour (she's perform children's theatre!) she came up to New York to get some new pics. Full of Georgian charm, she may be small, but her personality will wrap you up!
Here's Summer.

Hiroshima Photos

Since the video only shows the pics really briefly, I thought I'd post the pics from Hiroshima separately.
However, the video is MUCH MUCH more fun!
So, if you haven't already, go to my actual blog and watch the video!

Hiroshima

A few weeks ago, Ralph and I took a little trip down to Hiroshima on the bullet train. There we ate the famous okonomiyaki (I like Osaka's better) checked out the peace park, A-bomb dome and museum and explored the city. The next day we took a little detour, but finally make it to Miyajima where we got attacked by deer, looked at the floating shrine, took a cable car to the top of the rock for a view and a little cuddle with some monkeys! I decided to put it all together for you in a little video.

Shauna's on a Raw Food Diet

Yesterday, I shot with the amazing earth momma of a woman, Shauna.
Over the last few months she has begun a raw food diet,
and her new vitality is just shining through these pics.
She's American and plays Mabel in the Blues Brothers Show.
She brought me a seriously yummy raw food bar made entirely from seeds. . . it was delish!!
It makes me think about going raw, myself!
Though, when she started eating leaves at the shoot, I thought, maybe she was taking the raw food thing a bit far!

Butterflies

When shooting with Anni (photos soon to come) we decided to hop a fence and shoot in an abandoned field, overgrown with tall grasses and flowers. We climbed over and watched hundreds of dragonflies and insects of every kind hover over their private oasis.
We shot, and just as we were getting ready to leave, two butterflies few right infront of us, performing a mid-air mating dance for us. It was beautiful, and after a few minutes of enjoying the beauty, I remembered that I had a camera in hand, and raised it to try to capture the moment. The first shot. I got lucky.
Here's a little bit of beauty for you.

It's a GIRL!!!

Okay, so the title of this blog entry might make you wonder if you missed a few
scenes of my life and that I might be with child. . .
You did not.
I am not.

But, I did have my first shoot with a client of the female variety.
Chloe is one of our incredible Fantastic World singers.
She is from Australia and has legs for days and days and days and. . . you get the idea.
We had a great time, even though we, yet again, got eaten alive by the puny flying vampire bugs!

Right as we started the shoot, Chloe apologizes to me and says,
"I should warn you. . . I'm not very photogenic."
Hmmmm. . . . do you think she was right?
I'm gonna go with a big "uh-UH!!"
